Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a proven background in equipment repair and maintenance, and the ability to handle both in-shop work and service calls. The technician will work on Kubota tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, construction equipment, and hay equipment, performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Kubota equipment, including tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, construction equipment, and hay equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct service calls at customer locations, providing professional and efficient support.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior or entry-level technicians when needed.
- Stay up-to-date on Kubota products, service bulletins, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an equipment or heavy machinery technician, preferably with Kubota or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Experience with service calls and working independently in the field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Experience with construction and hay equipment is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and work with heavy equipment safely.
